Faux Jadeite Tutorial

I have always been drawn to jadeite pieces--that color of green! BUT these pieces are hard to find and they're not always budget friendly!

This project was a Pinterest find--and instead of pinning and forgetting, I actually did it!

Here's what you need:
- Any piece of glass dish ware (I found mine at Ikea years ago, but thrift stores are your best friend!)
- Krylon "Pistachio" spray paint
- Clear, gloss finish spray paint (I only had matte, which worked!)

Step 1: Clean and dry your glass pieces well (make sure you take off any sticky residue left over from price tags)

Step 2: Coat your pieces with the spray paint and let them dry completely, then do a second coat. Make sure you coat all sides of your pieces.

Step 3: Let your pieces dry completely! That's super important when you're spray painting glass!

Step 4: Coat your pieces with two coats of clear spray paint (gloss would be great, I used matte)

Step 5: let your piece dry a good 24 hours before using it.

And there you go! Easiest tutorial ever! If you try this out, I'd love to see it on Instagram or Facebook! Use the hashtag #graceandpeaceDIY
